Mariel + Ian

Chesterwood, an estate filled with history, served as the home, studio, and gardens of the renowned American sculptor Daniel Chester French. Nestled in the scenic small town of Stockbridge, it stands out as one of the most remarkable outdoor wedding venues in the Berkshires. For their wedding celebration, Mariel and Ian chose to fully immerse themselves in its splendor, taking full advantage of the various picturesque locations across the property.

Upon arrival, guests were warmly welcomed at the Residence and then guided towards the Hydrangea Garden, where they mingled around the Stone Fountain in anticipation of the ceremony. Despite the threat of rain, the weather remained idyllic for Mariel and Ian's special day, allowing them and their loved ones to revel in the joyous outdoor ceremony amidst the blooming hydrangea bushes.

Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, Mariel and Ian took a moment to privately celebrate their union on the Studio Porch, where the Mezze team had prepared a delectable selection of hors d'oeuvres for the newlyweds to indulge in. Meanwhile, Mezze servers invited guests to the Fish Pond Lawn for Cocktail Hour, greeting them with trays of various passed hors d'oeuvres and the couple's signature Spicy Margarita.

After rejoining their guests, Mariel and Ian opted to cut their wedding cake during cocktail hour, delighting in how the pressed flower design perfectly complemented the enchanting gardens that surrounded them.

As Cocktail Hour drew to a close, a mesmerizing display of countless luminary bags lit the path leading guests down to the Studio Lawn. The elegant sailcloth tent beckoned guests in with the sound of a live band, the music and warm lights promising an unforgettable evening of dining and dancing. The energy remained high throughout the night, as guests relished in a delicious two-course plated meal, heartfelt toasts, and danced the night away to the captivating tunes of the 10-piece band.

Mariel and Ian's wedding truly was a remarkable affair, etching itself into the memories of all in attendance. Its enchanting photos serve as inspiration for future couples, offering a glimpse into what they too, could hope for on their own magical and unforgettable evening.
