EVENT LEADER - FULL TIME POSITION
JOB TITLE: EVENT LEADER
The Event Leader supports the Events Director and their team in fielding client inquiries and developing client proposals, budgets, and production schedules. This role involves organizing details such as menus (in collaboration with the chef), rentals, vendors, staff, transportation, and venue logistics, as well as successfully executing events and leading the team offsite.
A strong focus on delivering gracious hospitality and positive guest experiences is essential.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
— Event planning experience
— Detail-oriented and highly organized
— Warm and gracious with clients, guests, and vendors
— Good time management and multitasking skills
— Excellent communication
— Punctual
— Team player
Excellent problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Off-Season (November- April):
— Develop event plans, financial estimates, and visual proposals
— Prepare client contracts and payment requests
— Create lookbooks and rental orders
— Source and introduce vendors
— Prepare layouts and secure necessary rentals and services
— Attend client showroom visits and tastings
— Update event plans and financials
—Communicate with vendors and support staffing needs
In-Season (May- October):
— Attend staffing and kitchen meetings
— Continuous management of all rental orders
— Create kitchen documents, ceremony plans, and staff schedules
— Coordinate transportation and accommodations
— Communicate final plans with clients and vendors
— Prepare packing lists and print necessary documents
On-Site/Event Execution:
— Organize rentals and prep beverages
— Meet with clients and wedding parties
— Oversee staff setup and service execution
— Manage ceremony and event transitions
GOALS:
— Lead events independently by the end of 2025
— Maintain consistency across office work and event execution
— Develop strong professional relationships with staff and vendors
— Oversee and nurture staff, promoting teamwork and service excellence
— Handle client communications on-site
— Identify and develop potential future leaders within the team
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
— Salary: $850 weekly
— On-site event pay: $35 per hour
— Annual compensation minimum commitment: $55K
— Ten PTO days (to be taken in the off-season)
— Health Insurance (50% covered by the company after 90 days)
— One hour of accrued sick time for every 30 hours worked
— Simple IRA plan with up to 3% company match after two years
